🗓️ 5/10 - 5/12 All Things Conference, 🗓️ 8/21 - 8/24 Summer Camp

Welcome

We're a community of Middle School and High School students who pursue ALL THINGS in Jesus; we are the Woodland Church Youth, and we’re stoked you’re here.

New Here?

New Here?

We are a family

God designed us to be His Family made in His image. We honor the King by being committed to loving each other, and assuming that others love us!

We expect fruit

We equip the saints expecting to see fruit in our lives and others. Following Jesus looks like something: the way we walk and talk is being completely transformed to be more like Jesus.

We all join in the fight

We have an enemy who despises everything that we were created to be. So, we ALL fight — for our families, our friends, and even those who hate us, to see the world set free from slavery to sin and raised to this new life of peace and joy in Christ.

We walk with Jesus.

Come walk with us!

By choosing to walk with Jesus the world no longer gets to tell us who we are, in fact, our identity is no longer ours to define. Jesus paid with his life to have the sole right to tell us who we are.

Jesus paid it all, so now we are:

Read Scripture

We're reading through the Bible in a year!

We're following BibleProject's One-Year Reading Plan. BibleProject is a nonprofit, crowdfunded organization that produces completely free resources that help people experience the Bible in a way that is approachable, engaging, and transformative.
"From page one to the final word, we believe the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus."

Wednesdays

Most weeks we meet at our Black Lake Location at 6pm (4245 Goldsby St SW, Olympia, WA 98512), the exception being the first Wednesday of the month when we join the rest of Woodland for our church-wide Formation nights.

Friday Fun Days

In lieu of Wednesday meetings the first week of the month, we get out and have some fun together. This changes month to month so make sure you sign up to get the latest updates.

Sundays

We take part in the main service at 10am at 1920 Abernathy Rd NE, Olympia, WA 98516.

Youth Leaders

We are richly blessed with an amazing group of Jesus followers to lead our youth group. We are confident that for each of the leaders God has brought us, He intends to produce exponentially more fruit.

Kalister Harmon

Ministry Lead

I am so very thankful to God to get to serve. I love God, people, and the fruit of unity in Christ! Feel free to reach out to me at kalister@woodlandnw.com.

Ilima Harmon

Ministry Lead

I love seeing strangers become acquaintances, acquaintances become friends, and friends become family. My heart is that the youth would be aware of the reality that seemingly small acts of faith are actually ground-shaking in the Spirit!

Jon Bowles

Teaching Lead

I love to serve, and I want to encourage the youth to live a life for God. To be Holy, for the Lord your God is Holy, and to experience the power of living that Holy life. A life founded on the rock.

Josh Flake

Teaching Lead

My heart is to edify the youth to seek all things in Christ. I want them to understand their value in co-laboring with Jesus in ministering to the church and community. Also, I have a strong affinity for fish. I’m a fisherman.

Zariah Hunter

Middle School Lead

My heart behind serving is to inspire and prepare our youth to walk in the world, but not walk according to the world. To serve God's will no matter how uncomfortable or hard, and to bring others to Christ.

Olivia Hunter

Middle School Lead

God has blessed me immensely with the gift of finding my calling while I'm so young. I want to help other young women learn how seek Christ and live according to his will!

Adam Cook

Middle School Lead

I love to teach, cook and build things. I really want to be a good example for our youth and show them the fruits of a long standing relationship with Jesus. Something unique about me is I have two different colored eyes.

Hannah Pulse

High School Lead

Hannah is incredibly talented, passionate about God's word and a truly deep thinker. She knows and applies God's word, and that can be clearly seen and heard in almost every conversation with her.

Andrew McClatchey

High School Lead

My heart behind serving is for the youth of today to feel known and loved. To help them to walk in the fullness of their identity and calling in Christ Jesus.

Tania Garrison

Special Event Lead

We are super excited to announce Tania is joining the team!
